I can't imagine what it would be like to own and drive this car. The saddest day of my life other than other than the day my mom passed away, was when I was forced to sell my '68 Firebird. My '68 originally came with a 350 2 barrel carb power glide trans 4w drum brakes. When it left my hands it had a '73 400 750 4barrel m21 4 speed and 4 wheel discs. There wasn't a part of that car that didn't have my blood, sweat or both on it.

You always set toe in slightly to accommodate for road forces. As you roll down the road friction will cause your tires to deflect outward slightly so at least 1 or 2 32nds toe in is best for control at speed. Otherwise your steering wanders/ feels loose at high speeds.

Im glad they left it as original as possible as far as appearance. Still looks like a Trans Am- The 17" wheels fit perfectly, any bigger would ruin it. So many people out there take these and transform into something other than a Trans Am. By the time they are done, only 50% of it is original. And yeah, you do have to modernize a few things to keep from getting run over on the highway, and to actually be able to take a road trip without stopping at every other gas station.

Beautiful car and decent expensive power. I have been a Pontiac enthusiast since I was 17. I remember when I couldn’t afford those Pontiac E heads and now I can . But I am not going to spend that ridiculous amount of money to make only 419 rwhp. I have a 461 stroker with a roller cam with stock 6x8 heads. She puts down 328 rwhp. I am surely not going to spend 3600 for ported E heads and another 450 for a bigger cam and another 800 for a bigger carb . Basically over 5k for maybe 90 hp !!! I guarantee that Butler 474 stroker is 15k engine. For less than half that you can have a 500 rwhp LS3. My brothers 76 TA puts down 938 rwhp with a LS 6.0 and a 88mm turbo. It’s on my channel if you want to check it out.
