One day, I woke up to find that my phone was missing. As I was searching for it, I found a $100 bill on the street. Later that day, I ran into an old friend I hadn't seen in years. We ended up having a great conversation and they even offered me a job opportunity. Finally, as I was heading home, I saw a shooting star streak across the sky. It was a truly strange and wonderful day.

They had paternoster lifts in St Thomas' hospital 1970 onward. As a 12 year old delivery newspapers, "Evening News Standard", in the hospital, it didn't dawn on me that they were anything special! Later, when a classmate broke his knee cap, our class all went to vist him and on the way out, we had races into the lifts in wheel chairs, 1 up and 1 down, great fun! There wasn't any restriction on who could use the lifts.

I'm starting to think that woman isn't giving that golden retriever enough food. Dogs usually only steal food when they are hungry or when there are lacking something in their diet.
@Elizabeth-rq1vi Жыл бұрын
There are dogs that will eat all day if allowed to. Our dog is such, somehow our vet knew that when we first brought him in at 10weeks. Morrie would eat continuously if there’s food available so we have to be careful about leaving edibles (of any kind) out where he can get into it.

Dogs can get frost bite in their paw pads in very cold weather unless your dog is a breed adapted to snowy and icy conditions. So if you live in a climate with very cold winters, it’s a good idea to get your dog used to wearing booties before winter comes, or walkies can be a dangerous time for them.

Mushroom - yes indeed in Germany called "Riesenbovist" - Giant puffball - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calvatia_gigantea . They can easily reach a good pound in weight but there are known record holders of several kilograms. Only really eadeble when young as the spores grow in the center of the bowl shaped mushroom and once ripe the skin layer breaks on top to release the spores.
