Most woman don't like the garage, so props to the wife for helping you, I have seen her help you before, and think it was cute. @stillliving58993 жыл бұрын
@ Alan, I never had a problem with the guy's I hired, because I told them what I expected from day one. I hired this one guy, and he had a wife and kid. I got a complaint on a grave he topped and seeded, and it looked bad. I took the guy to the grave, and said look at this grave, how would you feel if your f...ing wife was buried here. The guy was like, you didn't have to say it like that. One of my best worker's, always did a good job after that. I never hired any female's, because I didn't want to deal with any drama. The ladies that worked in sales, and administration were in a different building than the shop. I saw how they flirted with some of the girl's, and that was all I needed to know, only had to fire one guy for getting out of line. I had to do building maintenance as well as burials, equiptment, and helping out at other cemeteries, but never got any disrespect. I was a working supervisor, and could keep up with anyone, and usually outwork them, because Ib cared about the people who came there for burials, and to visit loved one's. I worked in rain, sleet, snow, or any weather, which gets you hardened up. Give people respect, and they will respect you. God bless.
@televisionhighlights87303 жыл бұрын
@@stillliving5899 I hear you, I guess you had a bad experience and I see why you’d try to avoid the drama thing. For me, hiring more women was the best decision, helped my business grow, female customers often felt way more comfortable talking to a female mechanic. I feel there is a good balance to be met in every business so I understand why your personal choices may differ and see why Alan has commented. All the best, stay safe in these times.

Buy your wife some red roses. She did a good job there putting the new headlights in! Most women are "gas and go" types, my girlfriend didn't check the oil in her Ford Taurus until I found it two quarts low. I check EVERYTHING on her car now. My ex-wife blew the engine out of her Ford Windstar, what a mess that was. I still have it. Replaced the engine, did some renovating on the interior, now it is a camper with lights, stereo, and TV with a swing out kitchen. Real comfy for the two of us. Now checking out a roof air conditioner for those hot August night's.

You did that Plinko and I just busted out laughing, my wife came from the room to see what was so funny. Good job. Some people try to do an LED conversion on head lights that take bulb and don't realize there are like 300 different lamps. Just because they fit doesn't mean it's correct. Many factors like light pattern from bulb, focal distance, how it works with the parabolic reflector. End result-bad match and they blind people coming down the road. Your sealed unit style is a perfect match, just take in account if you weight in the back which will make them beam higher. Nice to see your helper out there.
