Yes, the Damascus wood blade is awesome, but the amount of work on the rest of the project is on another level. I don’t think I saw you use a router, but you managed to use a;most every other tool.. The tools… wow! I would love to have the hand tools alone. I would both be in heaven and hell if I had your entire shop. I wouldn’t know what to use for with that many options! It would be a hell I could handle though, lol. Beautiful work, best of luck.

I wonder if you could make some scales with the shaving from making the distal taper - epoxy and nice shavings should equal excellent knife scales.
@EpicWorkshop Жыл бұрын
It would look interesting but I think it would be hard to do since it delaminates way to easily to use the shavings from distal taper 😕 but you can make a stock like I did and then cut it on saw thicker and then maybe 🤘

I’d love to see you have a go at making a wooden greatsword. The only wooden greatsword I know of was built by Shadiversity as a prop and demonstration tool for his vids. Though quite nice, it’s a very utilitarian build as he doesn’t have nearly your level of wood working skills. So I think one made with your level of quality would be truly something to behold.

Claymore is amazing and the one from skyrim is quite nice 😍 Thanks for kind words 😊
@RainMakeR_Workshop Жыл бұрын
@@EpicWorkshop True, it is a gorgeous sword. But at 120-140cm (47-55”), it’s more of a large Longsword than a Greatsword. I was more meaning a Zweihander in the 140-213 (55-84”) range. I’d go for 183cm (72”) personally. Or the same height as yourself if you’d be keeping it.
