Thanks Weeabruh congrats on the single Tezuka Astro Boys there’s no denying The Godfather’s brilliance and impact , HOWEVER, being supremely intelligent most works border on a pessimist existentially bleak view of humanity. Fine ! I’m also a pessimist but I don’t want to go insane and have taken an extended break from the Tezuka body of works they were building up angst and depression subconsciously- but I identified the problem and crave something more “mid level” - ish. ZOM 100 , Undead Unluck , Beaststars, JoJos etc .

Cool pickups especially the Keiichi Koike jump magazine. Koike is a character from what I've seen from french interviews although not much really known about him I was so happy when Heaven's Door was announced in english. I own Ultra Heaven in japanese and Heaven's Door in French for many years waiting for an english release of his. Dance till tomorrow is pretty funny. It took me 5 years to complete it at retail price and that was before the pandemic. So good luck if you want to complete it. Not sure what your taste in shojo/josei is since I'm new to the channel but I think the authors Moyoco Anno, Kyoko Okazaki, Fumi Yoshinaga, Mitsukazu Mihara, Kuniko Tsurita, Haruko Kumota, Fumiyo Kouno and if you like old school stuff Moto Hagio, Saki Hiwatari, Ryoka Ikeda and Keiko Takemiya would be a list of my favorites to check out.

Of course like always awesome haul! You probably have a lot of good ones already for your shojo for guys but I would recommend X/1999 & Pet Shop of Horrors. Probably will think of others once I get home lol 😂

I believe Wild Times Comics has a bunch of Kindaichi Case Files. EastCoastManga has a video from about a year ago where he stops there and I saw a bunch. No clue if they're still there. Live to far away myself. Their website isn't great.

There is a Ghost Hunt anime which is a decent adaption from the manga. There is a couple of things that are explained better in the manga but still a pretty good watch

I much prefer this setup in the haul videos!! you have one of the most BROAD tastes when it comes to manga as you can shift from Vampire Hunter D to Ghost Hunt to Keichi Koike's one shot without batting an eye. The intro to this vid was smooth! Also, Boji is the GOAT! Need an English print for sure. Really love the editing on how it goes from you talking about a certain manga and then you put it on the bookshelf. Also, Ghost Hunt looks great under the lights. My favorite romance is more of a slice of life it's called Machida-kun no Sekai, I wish they had English physicals. The top-down shots are nice, it feels more interactive for me. Would love a video on your recommendations for shoujo and jousei manga, as I read a ton of romance and romcom manga in scans online. Not to be weird, but there was something very enticing about this video, and I couldn't take my eyes off the screen! I think it's cause your bookshelf with the lights in the background it's so colorful, anyways great vid!

about tough- when picking up the physicals i had no idea how long the series actually was, or that it has two parts (42 vols and 39 vols). i think the one that we have a printing of is actually the second part if i remember correctly, which surprised me when i went to read it lol -kir
