I just learned the other day that you can epoxy the plastic ones and that video was a few years old so thank you for doing this. Your cup came out gorgeous. So I tried my first one because it was supposed to be easy. Hahaha. Leave it to me to screw it up. I overheated it for one thing. All the colors blended and it looked brown. I wiped all the wet epoxy off, let it dry and ready to start over. What a mess but I’m not a quitter lol

Oh no!! Definitely don’t over heat. Only use heat to move the colors otherwise you don’t need to heat it. Definitely try again 😁

Michelle, a tip for your transfer tape is to use your non lint rag and fuzz it before putting the decal on. This will keep the transfer tape from being so sticky.

Stunning! Love alcohol inks, truly. So many things you can create. I even have those same Piccassio inks. I only have the Piñata brass, though. But! I have the beautiful Athena from Peachy Olive and about 10 other gold glitters. Gold and white glitters some in so many variations that it’s impossible to have them all. That hasn’t stopped me from trying, though. 🤣 I can’t wait to see more of your work!

Hi! Fantastic video. Thank you. I bought some plastic tumblers with lids/straws. The lids are bright pink and others a bright green. Is there a way to color the lids to make them match my cup? I did glittered beach blues, and put blue alcohol ink on the lid…immediately turning it purple. 😂 Any suggestions? Thank you again!

Spray paint helps to make the colors work better. It would’ve probably been a bit transparent if I didn’t.

I don't know if you will see this as you did this video 6 months ago but I have a question for you. Is the resin you are using for this a food grade resin? I will at some point be trying to do one of these but wanted to ask to see what you think. Does it need to be food grade? I have a niece that is very protective of her daughter almost to crazy degree so what do you think?

I haven’t found a tumbler resin that’s good grade. I tell them to use straws that are provided.

Technically that’s an acrylic cup
