Kasimir - I noticed that you are tying the new pads down to radius the thigh rise. Are you doing that only because they are new or is that something you do for the life of the pad? I also do this (Bauer Vapor 3X) mostly because, as a 58 year old, my butterfly flare isn't what it used to be(I could say that about a lot of things) and I need a little help with the 5 hole. I've had these pads for awhile and I continue to do it. Also I notice you use a skate lace toe tie. I use the pro lace hybrid(see the 58 year old thing above) and I am curious of the reason you don't use an "elastic" toe tie. Thanks from Mark in Alaska

Hey : wanted to comment on this . I was thinking of using a bauer hyper light myself . In a G6 pro . It’s very stiff pad and I was a bit taken back on the flex on the new hyper lites in the video . I also use the pro laces. Was thinking of trying the skate lace . My understanding is the skate lace when you apply the knots will integrate better with the pad on post . My pro laces are great and are quick on and off ( pushing 50 years old here ) but I notice the elastic laces will pull the skate to the pad thus not letting that gap that would allow the pad to sit on the post so you hinge of the post with the pad . He ties pads because they need to break more and thats going to made them more flexible. He cuts the string that holds cover and fingers together on that blocker because it makes more space for the stick. :)

I grew up in Rochester, in case people might wonder why your colors are the exact same as the Rochester Americans aka Amerks. It’s because Rochester was originally the farm team of the Montreal Canadians. Hence it’s how they got their name and colors and never switched

Hey a bad night doesn't always mean a bad outcome, last 2 games i subbed for one team i was on the wrong side of shutouts, after the first i was offered a full time spot next season of their current goalie doesn't stay, looks like that's probably gonna be pushed back to the following season though

They came just over a month after i signed, and about 3 weeks after we ordered them. Pretty fast with the holiday break when the factory was closed and them having to be shipped to the nhl office first
