I've never liked that 14 day IR rule in the ECHL. I suppose lesson learned, if it happens again. Which I hope it doesn't, but if so, take the release and then go find another team. Here's hoping you find an opportunity to finish the season with a strong team.

Hey speaking as beer leaguer who has loved your stuff for years now l just wanted to say that at every level we as goalies occasionally make mistakes but come on 3-0. They have to score too. So, don't beat yourself up. Shot count or none l am convinced good things in hockey are waiting for you.

Kas, I know the money is far from ideal but why not grab an SPHL opportunity, get the starts so the rust is gone and make a push back to the Coast or AHL?

Why did they put you on the IR? That doesn't make sense. The only thing I can think of is to stop you from signing. The only reason they would do that would be to bring you back on contract. Strange, maybe there is a release clause in the contract. I wish you all the best.

Counting shots wrong is such bs. That sucks

The OIO crew in ATL is a lot better at tracking shots now! Especially when me or my buddy on it. We get almost off on the crease rebounds that they used to miss.

My brother played 10 years pro between CHL and ECHL and it’s a very volatile place to play a lot of moving parts you really have find the right fit somewhere to stick around for any ammount of time.

I can’t believe the ECHL gets away with this shot garbage. I feel like more should be made of this out there. And also…. They are taking away shots from players. Not as an impactful stat…but still! I want to dig into this. Contact some peeps out there. Also…the NHL has been brutal with shots over the years as well don’t forget…right now…I can’t even stand the shot clock. It changes every minute…taking away shots…only now have they decided to be accurate. This is why you see the current NHL goalies save percentage stats lower then they’ve ever been. (Part of the reason I mean)

I’d start separate channel for that man. Not only will it give you another revenue stream, but it also keeps business and personal life (vlog) separate. Then, for occasional content on the vlog channel, film you coaching as a part of your (day in the life) content. Piggy backing if you will. That’s what I would do if I were you.

I hate saying this but I’m glad your in the echl, I wish you guys played Florida at home so I could watch you possibly play just to even see you would be fine, even though I live in Florida it’s rare to see your favorite non nhl goalies play close.
