3:53 vs a rec who is overcbetting, do you think it is better to flop raise their cbet, or float and take it away on the turn? im tempted to think floating is better, especially at a low spr, because we can see their action on turn, and if they check, we win a large % of the pot when they x/f turn. where as if we flop raise, they might still get sticky on the flop, with say AK, having 2 cards to come, and we will also have less clarity on their range, since on flop, the range will still contain overpairs/pairs when they bet/call -- the AQo last hand is obviously interesting. what do you perceive him to be reraising on the river though vs your X/r? only thing that makes any sense is 1 combo A4s, or a bluff?

I think you should call hands that can hand more heat on future streets like k8s type stuff and raise weaker showdown hands that can barrel like 104s type stuff. The problem with not raising and just floating is that you allow your opponent to pick up additional equity and bluff barrel your weak range. AQs Hand I am trying to get him off 45 and a4

Great video coach as always!! You are the best!! One question...13:35 in splash pot... i really think 96s from BB should be a defend...given the pot odds and considering that probably MP will call also most of the times...what do you think???
@playitsmartpoker Жыл бұрын
Thank you! I would defend 96s heads up in that spot but going multiway is worse for that hand since my pair of 9s and flush draws will dominated more often by one of my opponents. You want more connected cards 3 way at such a shallow spr ( 45 56 67 etc)

Enjoyed the video! 1 question though, the hand at 25:15, what made you determine that you will be 3 barrelling that hand? The board texture or the perticular opponent? GJ!

His button limp call range does not contain any kq+ or many 2x. He has a very weak range and I have much stronger hands than him in general here and I need some bluffs.

I translated it into Japanese, so it may not come across well. 14:13 I play in 2rc and probably many will not follow the BB, so 87o is a hand that may or may not be open, but I am going to open it. What do you think Avery?

I would advise to open it vs a fish or tight/ bad regular and fold vs everyone else

In the last hand, are you expecting Villain to understand that your triple checking range will still be sufficiently protected to be uncapped? It’s a pretty unconventional line that I’m not sure would work at lower stakes - maybe some reg vs reg dynamic I’m missing though

Yes the last hand is vs a Good thinking regular who understands ranges/ what I am representing. This is not a play to try vs a loose whale

@@playitsmartpokerbut if you have set, why you not protect your hand at superwet board ? Anyway superdeepstack, if only 100bb stack may be your oppoment call with 4x.
@playitsmartpoker Жыл бұрын
@@EcstasyXp Sets don't need protection in general, they prefer to check raise at some point to allow themselves to play a larger pot vs your opponents stronger made hands or stronger draws. Similar concept the same way they rarely raise in a 3bet pot on the flop and prefer to trap.

nice last hand, ad blocks trips, and with AdAh maybe xraise river and call, and against who can check strong hands maybe good reraise ah5h, ad5d to block fulls
@FeersYouTube Жыл бұрын
16:35 I think after overbetting the flop he never folds to push here. It's better to shove and get value from all of his hands that might be afraid of a flush or something on the turn. He can even call some random AsKx, which he will give up on later streets.

@airmanu23 Жыл бұрын
A2o is an open fold basically in all ranges circulating around the globe! The bottom of Axo to open in the BTN should be A4o but you can expand your opening range from the BTN if blinds are recs/whales or just weak players!

Im sorry im gonna come across really backseat-ish here but the AQo final hand is appalling and extremely FALSE information. In this line AQo simply calls or folds almost pure - if we wanted to raise AQo it would be specifically AcQs to do with the block/unblock effect of what value and bluffs hero/villain can have which is absolutely nothing to do with reality (and probably 2-5% if at all in theory) the hands we want to use this line for are very nutted or INTERFERE with villain's nut range for example some 5x or 9x boat blockers - and as you say uncapped value such as AA AK etc etc compared to a capped villain range which is correct HOWEVER we absolutely don't use hands like AQo and if we do decide to be cute we definitely don't jam river unless we practically have a 9 realistically, you are saying "oh we have more uncapped value which is fair but your using it as an excuse to basically bluff entire range super deep - plus we block A4s which is high freq aggression pre anyway so completely irrelevant" these type of lines and logic makes 0 theoretical sense and are absolutely ridiculous! Im not attacking you bro you are solid in most spots but you are advertising paid content to viewers and half of the lines you take "look good" but the reasoning behind them is absolutely ludicrous and to be quite honest just a complete random set of words with 0 meaning. to perople watching i promise you one thing .. if someone says something with authority that DOES NOT make it correct. gg bro
@dantonkull6491 Жыл бұрын
the thing is, in particular spots, it seems like population may very well be overfolding and you can then put aside the theoretical insights for a moment as you will enjoy wayyy more fold equity than you should.

this guy won over 600k hands with his exploits and you? sure it is not GTO but the villain never has 99 KK here and this spot is underbluffed by hero so even 54 will fold. they are not playing this hand ever again for 100k hands.
