for everyone who needs it, korean will get easier and easier as you practice, keep reading out loud (youll be able to start reading in your head and thinking in korean with that too)

I really appreciate the fact that you refrained from speaking English in this video. Korean is what I want to learn and you utilised my brain's ability to process spoken words and match them with Korean characters while separating the written English so my brain knows the English is a translation of the characters I'm seeing and the words I'm hearing. You are an intelligent teacher. I wish all language teachers taught like this. Well done! 👏 👏 👏

I'm in the middle of the video and i realized that most of the phrases are in 반말/casual something you'd only be able to use with your friend and someone who is younger than you ㅎㅎ Thank you so much for making this♥️

Thank you so much, this is so helpful for learning Korean. I saw a couple of comments asking you to use romanization to help with pronunciation, but I disagree. I'm so glad there isn't romanization in this video, it's much better to learn pronunciation without it. Thank you! For anyone looking for romanization, there are a lot of other videos out there which have that, I have skipped all of those videos and have now arrived in the right place here :)

요 is used to make a phrase/sentence into a formal statement. 야 is used to make a phrase/sentence into an informal statement. The sentences in this video are INFORMAL. Example Below: Formal (What's your name?) 이름이 뭐예요. Informal (What's your name?) 이름이 뭐야.

Most of all are informal in this sentences. So, you would better add the syllable '요(yo)' on the last Vowel. For example, '잘가' -> '잘가요'. '어때?'-> '어때요?'.

How to come 은,는,가,이,를 explain please
@이-s2w
@이-s2w 2 жыл бұрын
• 1. Subject particles -이/가 Noun(ends with a consonant) + 이 Noun(ends with a vowel) + 가 Subject particles attach to a noun to tell us that noun is a subject in a sentence. For example, 선생님'이' 여자예요. (The teacher is a female.) 의자'가' 어디에 있어요? (Where is the chair?) Actually many Koreans often drop the subject particle -이/가 when they make conversations. 사과 있어요? (Do you have apples?) 사과 없어요. (I don’t have apples.) 돈 있어요? (Do you have money?) • 2. Object particles -을/를 Noun(ends with a consonant) + 을 Noun(ends with a vowel) + 를 Object particles attach to a noun to tell us that noun is an object in a sentence. For example, 밥'을' 안 먹었어요. (I didn’t eat a meal.) 커피'를' 마셔요. (I am drinking coffee.) • 3. Topic particles or comparison particles -은/는 Noun(ends with a consonant) + 은 Noun(ends with a vowel) + 는 When -은/는 are topic particles, they substitute subject particles or object particles, which means you cannot use -이/가(or 을/를) and 은/는 at the same time. For example, 선생님'은' 한국 사람이에요. (The teacher is Korean.) 저'는' 진우예요. (I am Jin-woo.) -은/는 also can mean ‘comparison’. For example, 사과'는' 좋아해요. 그런데 수박'은' 안 좋아해요. (I like apples, but I don’t like water melons.) >>> 사과를 => 사과는 수박을 => 수박은 제 친구'는' 영어를 잘해요. 그런데 저'는' 영어를 못해요. (My friend speaks English very well, but I don’t) >>> 제 친구가 => 제 친구는, 제가 => 저는

Thank you for watching! 💓 You're right. 이름이 뭐예요? is formal, but we use this expression only when the other person is younger or the same age as me. I don't use this expression for people older than me. In that case, I ask, "성함이 어떻게 되세요?" It's really hard to understand Korean honorifics, I know... It's more than a language, it's a culture... 😂
