Yes, it could be a mix. Mostley a fixed set, with added extra's.

Not seen so many combinations of coach stock before. Was there a special event in the area? First train a BLS - FS combo a little far from home rail? DB coaches train assumed to be EC to Basle and on to Germany?

There was a love parade in Zurich. EC was Milano to somewhere in Germany, probably thru Lucerne. Regards, Remco

@@REOSRailway The BLS EW IV coaches were actually regulars on a few Gotthard trains at the time. They were used there before they got the push-and-pull upgrades like their SBB counterparts.
