I will also say Bill Snyder is one of the greatest coaches to ever grace the big 12, he did more coaching up p layers then all of the other teams combined. They all had the 4 stars that were ahead of he curve already.

Great times in Manhattan..this is the year Stoops won it all two yrs after Stoops raided Snyders coaching staff when he got the OU job. . Jonathan Beasley only time they won back to back bowl games..GO STATE!!!!!!..its funny to see all the hits that would be called targeting and get ya disqualified these days..lol

What a incredible run by the Sooners that year. 3 games in a row they played #11 Texas, #2 Kansas St. back to back and then two weeks later against #1 Nebraska. It would have been bad ass if they got to play Miami for the Orange Bowl instead of Florida State .

Kstate just couldn't ever get over the hump and finish undefeated and any season they only had 1 lose multiple teams finished undefeated or was ranked higher with 1 loss because kstate would lose late in the season.
