I legitimately thought they were going to extend the streak through most of this game. But I guess it had to end eventually. Still, 5 losses in "Death Valley" over the past 50 years is a pretty amazing stat. Only 9 all-time.

The interesting thing about this game, which I think was one of Bama's best efforts in this awful season, was that Alabama had just fired DuBose, and they were still mathematically alive for the SEC West Championship. Auburn won the west with two losses - Florida and Miss. State. Had Alabama won their final three games, they would have played for the SEC Championship with a 6-5 record!

We’re watching a game in 2000….. so questions about the 2000 season is to be expected. How insecure do you have to be to have the greatest history of any college football program, but if anyone asks about a season that Alabama struggled, you have to immediately attack that person with another topic? It’s a legit question, dude. 2000 Alabama was a catastrophe. Every team has a few. It’s just disappointing when an adult can’t handle a question about a season where your team struggled. It’s time to grow up. Go watch Alabama-LSU 2020 and pose your question. I’d like to imagine people act like adults and answer your question respectfully as we are all hardcore sports fans. If a LSU fan responds like a child like you did, notify me and I will harass them and have a stern talking with them. Otherwise, work on bettering yourself and not responding so like you are still in elementary school.

IT WAS OUR FIRST WIN OVER BAMA IN TIGER STADIUM SINCE 1969. SO YES WE DID. BUT BY 2003 THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN STUPID. SABAN CHANGED THE CULTURE HERE. IF BAMA WINS A CHAMPIONSHIP IN BASKETBALL THE TEABAGGERS WOULD RUSH THE COURT.
