And Carly is his mother but AJ would have taken Michael away from her. And he planned to do that from before Michael was even born. Carly gave him plenty of chances to compromise on shared custody but he was not interested. He was a Quartermaine and thought he was entitled to whatever he wanted and damn anyone else.

Why can't AJ see his son? You keep Michael from him the first year, then you marry him and play games. Now you have Sonny get AJ to sign over his rights..and he can't even see him? That is Typical cruel behavior Carly style.

I will say I don't like how they came about the whole Michael and AJ situation but I do agree that AJ was not a good example I mean you know sometimes Sunny can't be either but it's the whole thing that he didn't want Michael because it was his son and he was loving him he wanted him to prove that he can give them something that Jason hasn't given them yet he wanted to use his son as a pawn with his grandfather and his dad I can understand not want to know if I was never like yeah I know I don't want my kids to be raised up for you to be using him because you know that your family going to love him and he's going to be the new obsession over the family I think they're going to handle it a little bit better but I think Carlin almost right at least until you know as he got his stuff together but he wasn't trying to do any of that

AJ was a mean petty drunk who had a problem being his own man.....his life was spent trying to please his family.....especially his grandfather......his actions weren't based on love the of his son.....it was based on revenge.

The fun of watching soaps is seeing the bad as well as the good. Some of the best acting and the best storylines is from the “bad guys” characters. Fairy tales are boring after awhile.
