2000 Ford Excursion Headlights and LED bulbs Upgrade (Cheap and Fast)

I upgrade to new headlights and LED bulbs on my lifted 2000 Ford Excursion. The headlights and bulbs were all purchased from ebay. Total cost was around $90. It made a big difference in looks and night time driving. This process is the same for 1999-2004 models (ford excursion, f250, f350) Enjoy!

The 20 torx only adjusts the headlight position, now that I unscrewed it the headlight is stuck going outwards and won't release

Looks good looking at the truck but what about visibility looking out windshield? Would've liked to see if there was improvement in driver visibility at night.

Your absolutely right I should have put a short video of me driving it with them at night. But I do have another video where I show that and driving it at night. Check it out. Its the ones where I get new tires and led bats for the excursion.

those lights went up in price, in Amazon and eBay during Christmas... don't think they are coming down again anytime soon...

Why did you purchase the two piece versus a one piece? Any difference?

no cutting on two piece, i had to do some cutting to make my one piece 6.0 headlights fit

Pretty good. I actually added some "extra lighting" up front which I will go over in an update video on the Excursion coming soon!

Where are the headlight adjusters on an Excursion ?

Open the hood. And look straight down on the outer wall of the headlight and fender. There is a Phillip's head bolt screw. Those are the adjusters for them.

Nice video, but I am having a lot of trouble INSTALLING the top two posts so I can insert the retaining clips. That is the part of the video that you sped up, so I can't hear any tips on how to get that done.

@@MrCarbonbigfootprint you have to adjust the two rods by using a screw driver or torx scre driver to line them up then the clips can be inserted. They are a pain though...take your time because they will brake if done with too much force.
