2000: Kevin Harvick, Tim Fedewa, & Rodney Childers all raced against each other at Myrtle Beach. And since 2014, that combination already has a championship between them.

Nice video! Green was on a rail in 2000. 27 of 32 races were top 10s. Interestingly, back in 2000 Casey Atwood was considered the next big up and comer. The up and comer did compete in this race, just in the #92 though.

I think all three of the top series in nascar need to race at more short tracks because those tracks are so much more entertaining.

This was the last Busch race here and after 2020 the track will be torn down 😢😢

Greg Sacks would've been a great color commentator. Also Rodney Childers was in this race!

Yes; he's a NASCAR winner, he's articulate, he can convey his enthusiasm about racing, and he pays attention to what's developing on the track.

Not only Kevin Harvick is in a race with his future spotter and Rodney Childers who when Harvick makes the HOF, Rodney should be right alongside him, but he also shared the track with the “silver spoon’s” daddy

Now this track isn't even there. I understand the reason and economics behind everything, but damn it sucks.
@Stick04133 жыл бұрын
My fear is that SOBO will see this fate. The only thing preventing it is that SOBO isn't in and around a major tourist destination (and land value far outweighing the value of operating the track). Truly for NASCAR I think it is time for the Xfinity and Trucks to get back to their roots, at small, yet well equipped tracks. I understand the economics of running companion races to the Cup cars, but in the end, if we were to say what is killing NASCAR it is this. Trucks and Xfinity kissing the Cup series ass, even after trying to limit everything. Let AAA and AA leagues be their own thing (baseball reference), but keep them seperate yet together, that is what has been forgotten. A few companion races a year for either is cool, to essentially mirror each other, yeah that is truly hurting and has been hurting the lower series and sport as a whole.
