I remember being in London for the 2005 Champions League Final. At half time I told my Liverpool fan housemate "Dont panic yet, I once saw a team come back from this (3-0)". Who would have thought UEFA copied us.

Your missing all the extra time/ golden goal section. Which was nail biting as hell with both sides have a number of chances to win it. This game still hurts 20 years later. Remember the gutted feeling when the wolves won it. Took me several weeks to recover.

@Dagestani just because I think the NSL days are better than now doesnt mean I havent been to the A-League. I have been to every single glory game this year (including celtic) and I am very passionate about the club. I have attended several meetings with glory executives talking about the community and how they can influence a club.

I agree, this was such an epic grand final in Australian history and it has less than 1000 views and yet Geelong versus Penrith gets a million and really goes completely un-noticed by pretty much everyone in the world. I often wonder if all Australia's top footballers played soccer how good we'd actually be? Could we have won a world cup by now? I think we would be a power... maybe as good as Netherlands? It's a pity really.
