Cool! Another 306 video. Simple, good to drive cars like this seem like a lost art now, modest and unassuming but still a good driver's car with communicative steering, agile chassis, etc. I have a 5 door 306 XSI with the 100kw 2.0L, which is still considered low power by Australian standards, but I think it's plenty for a car like this, especially with the manual transmission. It's comfortable, practical, great to drive and surprisingly inexpensive to own. I love it.

@@Messergebnis-liebhaber Yeah! It's a rare car here, but I chose it because I was after a fun-to-drive hatchback. The common choices here would be a Mazda 3 or Ford Focus. Good cars but a bit uninspiring to me. I test drove a 306 out of curiousity and fell in love with its driving dynamics. I ended up buying a well-loved one-owner XSI 3 years ago and it's been my daily driver ever since. :D

@@MattyDienhoff I think you have made the right choice if you wanted to drive a fun hatchback with real mechanical feeling. You said your car is a XSI. That model should have a 2.0 8V engine with 121 PS & 175 Nm. It is a very reliable engine with lots of torque and power. I have lots of old magazine articles about 306 and its comparison with rivals such as Golf MKIII. The articles contain lots of measured data! What is the mileage of your car right now? If by any chance you have any photos of it, I would be happy to see it!
