Awesome coach. Totally quality and detail especially for 2000. You did a fantastic job showing it as well as driving it. You clearly know the bus very very well. Pretty impressed with your knowledge. Props to you. Don’t worry about pronouncing the name incorrectly. Lots of people do that until they are told. There are lots of people that can pronounce the name, but will never own or even drive one. Your girl did a really great job on camera also. I recently bought a really nice new gas MH for $100k less than this, and as nice as it is, my new coach doesn’t compare to this gem. Not surprised it sold fast! Lucky new owner. I only hope they take as good care of it as the prior owners. Thanks for a job well done!

Thank you very much. You did a great job showing and telling about a great piece of history. It is so nice to see something that has been so well taken care of and preserved. To bad that some people don't appreciate your youthful presentation and can't help but be critical. Like to see some of them give it a try. Thank you again and keep showing.

The quality of the construction is the very best. The game is to get around the banks without being noticed. These pre-owned coaches could be the answer to that. And the banks don't like paying someone else's depreciation. It's a good move. You can go undetected with a trade in.

I haul and drive new R.V.'s from the factory to the dealers all over the U.S., and i can tell you this; This coach, 18 years old and all, is 10 times the quality of the new ones coming out of the factories here in Indiana (90% of R.V.'s in North America are built in Indiana), and a far better buy than your typical composite body on frame class A's. Most of them are glue and staple jobs rushed together. There's NO way i would pay $200k for a new one after seeing, driving, and experiencing their shoddy workmanship. The Prevost chassis alone will hold value because it can be remodeled in the future. It is a real bus, not just a class 6 chassis with a box truck diesel. The Detroit diesel 12.7L (known as the million mile motor) is the best engine ever installed in a coach, and it's pre-DEF, so it is super reliable $200k is what they're asking, as of my posting. I wish i could afford it. If you're in the market for a class A diesel, and are willing to give up some width (no slideouts), this coach is the way to go. Class! Class! Class!

Spot on analogy,had the 2001 Prevost LeMirage with the Cummins engine was sold 5 years ago only regrets was not ordering the Detroit that coach shown has.A Detroit~Allison drivetrain is the only way to go on these.For 2 people could go without slides only thing I'd change on this is replacing 2 CRT TVs with OLED sets and get phone mount in drivers panel for google maps and hands free phone chat📲and that's it a fine coach indeed.👌Sadly since Volvo purchased Prevost can only get Volvo engine on new Prevost H series coaches.Did get to tour both Prevost and Vantare and regrettably didn't have Vantare outfit the LeMirage after Quebec factory built shell.

@@louisaloi9178 Interesting what you say about Detroit. I am getting an MCI with a Detroit 8v92. I heard when they went from 71 to 92 the extra power puts a lot of strain on the crankshaft bearings causing them to wear out after 150 000 miles. First order of business is for me to inspect and probably change the main bearings.
@louisaloi91784 жыл бұрын
@@jennydiazvigneault5548:The coach in this video has a Series 60~Allison drivetrain the most desirable pre EPA mandate combo.Had 2 LeMirage private coaches but on neither accumulated high mileage.Miss Detroit Diesel is too bad EPA basically ran it out of business Bus fleets loved their reliability & serviceability.The first Prevost we had had a 8v71 and the second Prevost had a Cummins.Is easy to see this young man in video sold this beauty in short order.Knew someone in Pa.that once owned a bus like this in sales video and he owned a bus fleet.Told me with proper maintenance is a million mile motor.👍

If you got monster tired you could just crash out on that couch for the night and I doubt many would wake up feeling worse. Pretty and good camera operator too. Well done all. Anyone moronic enough to have to comment on a strangers appearance is clearly jealous that person has the balls to look the way they want and what makes them happy in their own skin. Beware the always negative begrudgers… Miserable swabs. Certainly seems to be a top of the range vehicle. Dear Santa.. you know how good I have been all my life....I have now watched over half a dozen of these videos and preferred this one because it showed the true width of the coach inside... without the slide outs so no guessing required how wide it would be with them in.. If it had any? I don't think it even needed them anyway..

Your right. Its not an rv. Look close at its outside compartments. Remind you of a grey hound bus?? Prevost is mainly a commercial bus manufacturer. As a result it’s basically a commercial bus with an rv interiors. And it has same built in safety as a commercial bus.
