Welcome on board! After many many requests for a full video tour of our 'decker' conversion, it's finally here. Sorry it took so long, but we have been busy touring most of the summer.

The DABUS emblem made me laugh... I guess this is BRABUS pun
@NeoplanVoyager5 жыл бұрын
It was due to my kids. they are forever saying can we play on the bus, but when my youngest (3) says it, it sounds like Da Bus, thus Voyagers new nick name...... we are on Da Bus.
@XavierAncarno5 жыл бұрын
hahaha... ok, i tought it was a pun because Brabus GmbH is the performance branch of DaimlerAG (Mercedes Benz). but that cute if the kids helped you for DABUS's name. have a great day.

It's just so cozy and homey. At first I don't like the second floor seating area, but then I realized in such a small space, having that extra room is much appreciated. Great build.

if you’re complaining about the music, just turn off audio and watch in awkward silence
@teresayeates34373 жыл бұрын
That is what I did, simple.

Did just this especially when I realized it was the same 45 secs on loop, wasn't awkward one bit though more like blissful silence.

I LOVE this bus conversion! Nevermind what some people are saying, I think it's great the kids have their own private space to get changed or do what they want in peace and privacy. Obviously they don't stay in that room all day long, they get to roam around the bus and ride in the seats up top, overlooking everything down below. I would love to have this for my own family someday. Personally, I would do it a little differently but I took some great inspiration from your video. Really impressed with the full bathtub/bathroom. The music wasn't as terrible as others have said either, barely noticeable when you're focusing on the floorplan- some people will complain about anything 😂 Overall- very nicely done!

To all the negative folks commenting ... where is YOUR double decker bus conversion?!? KUDOS to you guys for the effort in to your rig and also the video. Happy adventuring! 😊🙏☀️
@DiandraStarShine3 жыл бұрын
that has nothing to do with how awful the interior design is. and you'd know that if you were even a little bit schooled re: bus conversions. and beyond how badly they 'utilized' all that space they had to work with, there are far too many SAFETY issues, including that *death trap* of a children's room. you missing all the LITERAL terribleness proves you're not at ALL clued in at all to the world & community of tiny homes-on-wheels & bus conversion & the most FUNDAMENTAL basics, *including* the safety issues. so there are REASONS why, unlike on the majority of bus conversion videos, there are so many negative comments re: this one. it's not for nothing. and it's CLEAR that whoever bought and/or redesigned that bus did NOT study up properly or even visit enough websites or even watch enough videos in order to AT LEAST make it safe for the children, let alone for everyone else. and it's ALSO clear they didn't even bother to CONSULT any designers and/or builders who have legitimate and proper experience. also, they don't know how to do a proper video tour *either* re: the genre and they offered NO details as they went along. in all my years of paying attention to bus conversions & tiny homes [on wheels or not!], this one is *definitely* one of the 2 WORST bus conversions & tiny homes designs and/or *redesigns* I've ever seen..including one of the WORST negligent designs re: *SAFETY* issues. and honestly, YOU really need to study up on the topic before you're *next* tempted to go OUT of your way to prove how uneducated you are on the subject.🙄 because your comment made that extremely & undeniably evident.
@maureensmith44514 жыл бұрын
Very nice, except please put a window in the kids room with bunk beds. That’s a death trap if there was ever a fire outside the bedroom. No escape root out of the bus.

Bloody nice. But one has to be super rich to afford this conversion - Strictly upper class. One can dream though...

The children's room is sad. Such a tiny space in such a huge bus. It looks claustrophobic😬. Love the kitchen and bathroom🥰
@fionakennedy21172 жыл бұрын
My thoughts were the same. If they'd have taken out the 4 upstair seats, it could have given the kiddos a bigger room, a play room or even a laundry room (combine the laundry and playroom even) . There are 4 seats down stairs behind the driver, why do they need 4 additional stairs uptop??
@drbeanbeanbino57462 жыл бұрын
@@fionakennedy2117 I think the 4 seat up stairs is great the kids prob LOVE sitting up there while on a drive... that being said I agree that room was so tiny!!! The best thing to do would be to knock all those walls down it's not needed qhen living in busses/vans if u really want to there are drop down walls/curtains etc that can be done to put down for privacy if that's the next argument can turn the entire upstairs into a room with extra necessity so to speak make those chairs part of the room!!

Beautiful conversion. You are very talented and persistent to professionally complete such a conversion. I am in awe. I hope that you have many enjoyable adventures in that gorgeous RV.
@bryantford30545 жыл бұрын
Such an amazing attention to detail. You spared no expense on the appliances. Loved the little dishwasher. The upstairs looks more like a yacht than a bus. Can you stand up inside on both levels? My favorite spot as a passenger would be the upper level with that unobstructed view. Tell your wife your next project is an articulated double decker conversion. Congratulations on a beautiful job. I'm envious. 👍🏻

Interesting design. I think the bunk bed room is a little claustrophobic. There really should be no wall there and it should be open to that window side. The seating area on the 2nd floor to the very rear is wasted space. That could utilized as another bedding area. The rest of the camper is nice.

Awesome! A lot of trade off keeping the passenger seats up top though, that space could have been used for an additional room. I guess this allows you to travel with more people for a camping trip though (if they brought tents/sleeping arrangements), plus it's pretty a sweet view for the kids I imagine while driving to destinations. Hard to say which I would prefer.

I'm surprised at such a small fridge. I would have put microwave as one with venting over the cooktop, or wall above the oven. I actually found it looks smaller inside that I expected. I thought maybe another bedroom up top . I know it's probably because each room has space, instead of squishing many elements into small space.
@scouser2010ify3 жыл бұрын
All that wasted space on the second floor with the chairs could of easily made a single bedroom

This is really awesome .... from A to Z that’s includes definitely the kitchen, the dining area, the bathroom and most definitely the bedroom which I would call this is the place to wake up. We are planning to build on Bus giving us the freedom to stay where we like . I would like start some some PN touching subjects neither of us wants to do in public. Again a very great and outstanding project! Unbelievable that finish this whole wheeled castle within 6 months *****

What a great transformation. I have often thought that if there were a new company making these, it would go over well. I'm not sure how easily it would be to get around in the States because of bridge over pass height issues. But This would surely be something people would want.
@kristieingram20394 жыл бұрын
I love the interior design but I few things would have to change for me.... Absolutely no bathroom upstairs due to possible water leaks..... The upstairs passenger part would go and turned into a relaxing sunroom type area of some kind... I am single and need an office space to work.... Yep...love the bus but I see much more potential !!!

Hi there. Thanks for sharing your bus. I think you have done a really nice job, the finishes look really good. To all the armchair experts making negative and derogatory comments, so please post your videos of your stellar buses.............oh thats right...............you don't have one do you. Most enthusiasts check out each others builds and then find what would work for our application. Don't criticize, try building one yourself, see just how easy it is.
