Could be as simple as being low in transmission fluid. Possibly shift solenoids. Good luck!

Go 20” rims with staggered fit 20x9 in the front and 20x11 in the rear…. Just don’t get BLACK rims… UNLESS they have a chrome or stainless deep dish lip. Or the minimum go 19” conclave style… Good luck with the transmission!!! I’ll send you a donation!🎉

Would 20” be too big? I’ve got my eyes on a set of 18” x 11” wide. I think you’re right about the staggered setup, would be smart to run 11s in the rear and 9s in the front. Don’t worry they won’t be black rims either👌🏼👌🏼

Replace the MAF. Bad MAF will make it seem like a bad transmission with the 3uz.

Hey, if you want to save money and learn, by all means, bring it into the mechanic to see what he says. I would say take your time get on the forums and do some research because the problem could be a very simple one and this is a great time to learn. I bought

Yeah that’s a great idea! I’ve been considering that, would be an awesome way to save some money and learn more. I’m always trying to learn more about how to fix up cars. I will definitely take it into a mechanic so they can try and pinpoint the issues first. Would you like to see a few additional videos of me taking the car apart and fixing the problems myself rather than just having all the work done off camera by a mechanic?

@@Atlanticbeachcustoms Definitely, but you know your context (timeframe, desire, goals and abilities) better than I ever will. My desire for you is to be successful and to tell your story the way you feel best. I will say whatever route that you take, it is always wise to do your homework. There are a lot of “mechanics “ out there that don’t know what they’re doing and can and will waste your time, energy and money. So educate yourself before you do anything. There are 3 guys(with channels) that I would like to recommend: 1. The Car Care Nut - Toyota/Lexus Specialist. A collaboration or consultation with him would be awesome for you and us. I believe that he does consulting also. Not 100 on that but check his channel. 2. Flying Wheels - This guy is in New Hampshire. On his videos, he introduces his friend who is a Lexus specialist. You should be able to call his office, introduce yourself and your channel and ask for help. 3. Legit Street Cars - he just fixed his GTR transmission. He may be able to help. Before talking to them see if you can get your hands on an SC430 manual or search KZbin for a video with someone with your issue. It is a good idea to get an itemized bill at least, so that you know where you stand. Then you can decide what you can/will do, pay for or get a friend’s help with. Sorry for the long reply but your success is our success. L8r

I have the perfect sc430 to build from scratch, we've got so much going on but i'll get it fixed bit by bit for you all! This is going to be such a fun and complete build! My goal is to share information I learn along the way so other people can do this stuff on their own. I love that "your success is our success". I will look into those 3 guys, a collaboration would be huge thanks again man! I'd love to get your opinion on this channel and some other car stuff if you ever have any feedback or advice to offer. I still have no clue what I am doing haha. I am much better at checking comments on Instagram but I just set my comment settings here to "hide none" so hopefully I don't miss anymore comments like this! Have a great day!!
