Raiders were good but they always had a top Elite team to play against in the AFC. In '98 it was the 14-2 Broncos who won the big one, then in 2000 it was the Ravens, then in 2001 it was the Pats. Our best chance to finally win one was in 2001 or 2002 but we got cheated then Davis traded Chucky to the team who beat us.

@@josecolon2201 Imagine having Tim Brown, James Jett, Rocket Ismail, Jerry Porter, Jerry Rice and Andre bad moon Rison all on the '00-'01 roster against the Ravens and Pats in Playoffs. Wacthing these old games from like '98-'01 it makes one wonder how much greater it could have been.

The Raiders also had a lot of great defensive players too in that era. Charles and Rod Woodson, Biekert, Eric Allen, Sam Adams, Darrell Russell, Reagan Upshaw...and an awesome O Line

No it wasn't. Raiders beat The 49ers @ San Francisco 23-14. I forgot exactly what year it was but Charles Woodson sealed the Raiders victory with an interception of a Colin Kaepernick pass. Game Over!!! Raiders win 23-14
