2000-year-old Mugs found by Nazareth (Einot Amitai follow up)

An accidental discovery of an ancient quarry by Nazareth while constructing a new railway. In this very spot, they unearthed many mugs, bowls, and cores. They also found what was missing all these years in previous excavations.

I live in Rome so it's a bit like Israel here too, we find 1st century artifacts very often. We've been building our third subway line for more than 13 years because we keep finding stuff 🤣 It's always exciting to know there's so much history underneath your feet but it can slow building process a lot. Nevertheless I think it's worth it. The findings from the land of Israel are especially exciting, so thank you so much for showing us this. Love from Italy!! 💖🇮🇹🇮🇱

I am always blessed in watching your informative videos, plus you two are just loved by us all who follow you. I have been to Israel about 10 times, one time for 5 weeks. We rent a car, and travel the land, even going to “off the beaten track” kind of places( that are safe) with our oldest son who speaks Hebrew and lives there. I will never get too much of this beautiful land. Ever since you did your pressing for olive oil video, I have put it on my list for a “must do” when I come to Israel again. I have always bought olive oil to take back hime in the Chicago area, but now I need to press some, lol. Thank you for this update to the earlier discovery. I remember having my paradigm shifted on the definition of “carpenter.” If a carpenter worked with other materials besides wood, I can see the Savior working stone as well. There certainly is more stone than wood in Israel. Makers and craftsmen, whether in wood, stone, or metal, have some quality time to think and philosophize. The Lord’s wisdom, displayed at 12 in the temple, may be confirmed by His youthful experiences in Joseph’s workshop. I love to think of this possibility. Perhaps the curtain of forgetfulness was drawn back in His mind as well. Your SR videos, and the Life of Christ Bible video on the temple teaching experience, give me a closer relationship with, and appreciation for, the marvelous, young Jesus.
