Lovely comparison! I love how the old digicam performed in those night shots. I guess it's down to limited ISO, shutter speed abilities and the lack of dynamic range that it seems to meter more for the highlights. And that's what makes a great night shot in my eyes. Capturing the lights well to get a kinda low-key shot. Beautiful stuff!

Yea I’ve heard from others with the same cam that the mode sliders have been a problem. Even mine, my slider doesn’t work and the cam is stuck in photo mode. I’m not really sure how to help but you can try asking it in online forums!

Thanks but a 14 megapixel camera from 2010 is too modern for what most consider the "digicam look" these days. The Sony looks like modern, digital point and shoot. You want something 2007 or earlier and in the 3-6 megapixel range for that filmic look everyone wants these days. Ive got tons Ive had for years but prefer the Fujifilm Finepix cameras with the excellent SuperCCD sensor. Liked you video though!
