Great job APE ! That the model I usually install in a RV or seen the most used. That bluetooth app is great ! The only issue I ever had is the size of wire to battery and the RFI noise in AM radio. Ferrite on both wires and AC wire cuts it down a whole bunch . I use 0 Ga wire for my installs with like a 250 amp class T fuse or breaker. ANL 200 fuse is ok at battery. In a RV that ground wire you connect to the frame . in a caben it goes to ground rod . 12AWG wire or larger from inverter if using direct wiring. that remote display can make some RFI so a snap on ferrite at both ends does the trick . It is ok to use a AC surge protector on them. this protects the inverter from possible surge from appliance . next storm that takes grid down you now can play video games and watch TV . Make coffee and use full size microwave. It will run most 120V AC units. Just need large battery. 2 to 4 of them mini 100 AH is normally what I see used in a RV. 73

Nice video ape, cool that it has AC break outs.

I enjoy and am amazed by all the names of the companies that come from one area of the globe. Very creative.

Good day Ape sorry to bother you with questions especially not related to the video, I wanted to ask you since MFJ has been discontinued what cross needle meter you would recommend for forward and reflected power

Check out Comet, they have a few models 👍

I see from one comment that they have had RFI problems with these inverters. That's not an uncommon problem with inverters. Did you test for that? I'm looking for a 2000-watt inverter to use in a portable battery box with a 100aH LiFePO4 battery, but since it will power amateur radio equipment, low RFI is critical.

It’s really tricky to test, it could easily be clean for one person and not someone else…. Or the opposite. Granted some are worse than others.

Thanks Ape! Did you try this with a receiver to see how much (IF any) noise was emitted, and where. Inquiring Hams want to know. 🍺🍻73 mike 😻😻😻 “ Bohemian Catsody - A Rhapsody Parody Song for Every Cat Queen and King! ” -Shirley Șerban 😻😻😻 (for the easily tweaked)

Hey CT. I didn’t because I just assume you’re t is dirty. Also, test parameters can vary greatly like; shared power, grounding, proximity to radio, proximity to antenna. Too make variables to say if it would be clean for someone else 👍

So you can operate it at 185F put you cannot store it above 176F. Gotta love Chinese made up specs.
