That spare nut is intended to use as a throw away nut to set the arm onto the bracket... apparently, before you torque the lock nut. This thing was a PITA for me. Yours was the best video I found about this process. The lock nut felt cross threaded right away to me... is it supposed to be that hard to get started? Anyway, thanks for this.

I have 2007 Tahoe it does not have idler arm and bracket. I’m pretty sure 2007 when they introduced rack and ended we gotta replace but my vehicle is 4 x 4.

I could not figure that grease adaptor for some reason didn’t fit on the part which is odd .
