2001 Arctic Cat 300 4x4 Run Up and Look Over

I have the exact same ATV (year, size, color, etc.). Only difference I can tell is I have a wench (it works great for occasional snow plowing). Mine’s super cold-natured too. I rebuilt the carb and just can’t seem to get it tuned to stay idling from a cold start, but it’s great once it’s warmed up. I bought mine from the original owner maybe 15 years ago and have no plans of replacing it any time soon. If you still have it, can you start yours manually with the starter rope? For the life of me, I cannot.

They have diff lock its the same atv pretty much as king quad you have to make the 4x4 linkage longer to shift into 4x4 diff lock

Does it seem like it revs in high more then usual? Like sounds like it’s still in low gear? I have the exact same bike and my shift linkage is gone so it’s hard to say which way I have to turn it to get it into high gear . The previous owner had vice grips on it but either way I turn it it still seems like it’s in low gear.

Gas to the mileage ?
