I did mine without lifting it off of the ground and I didn't have to compress the suspension that way,
@InsaneOil3 жыл бұрын
I can see that working.
@zane314153 жыл бұрын
@@InsaneOil yeah! It's just a little trickier with the tires on, but not too bad.
@davidw20143 жыл бұрын
Thanks for pointing this out zane314. If one has enough clearance to crawl under from the front, I think it is easier to replace the end links that way, as the suspension is compressed making it easy to remove and reinstall.

Did you have to do the oil pan gasket on yours?
@InsaneOil3 жыл бұрын
I have not had to change the oil pan gasket yet.

good video but it was installed upside down - the nut should be at the top
@InsaneOil3 жыл бұрын
If the nut is at the top and the nut comes off then all the pieces fall out all over the ground.

False. Nut on bottom.

LMAO at the torque specs... 15-21 for 2WD 16-21 for 4WD Seriously, the only reason they did that was to have two different listings. There is no actual difference.

I'm sure somebody really needs that 1 extra ft lb
@hecks_k20_fa52 жыл бұрын
To fight the tension it's better to loosen everything and then leave one side snug and proceed to the other side! once everything is lined up you can tighten everything up,and if I need to bang a bolt out I usually put the nut on the end of it protruding out a little and bang on the nut instead of the actual bolt! It helps if you need to save that bolt/stud etc.

Hey man question for you do you think this caused any wobble death?
@InsaneOil Жыл бұрын
Given that there are 290 million registered vehicles in the U.S., I think statistically it probably contributed to at least one accident. However, I did not not have any wobble before or after the repair.
@renec0327 Жыл бұрын
@Insane Oil oh ok cause I had a scary wobble in my ford f150 2001 and I want to know what parts I need to change
@InsaneOil Жыл бұрын
@@renec0327 It could be a contributing factor, but I would also check your other steering/suspension components while you are under there.
