Learned to drive on a 2003 F250 regular cab xlt same motor. We sold ours at 190K miles after 13 years. Hearing all the classic Ford chimes make me wish I still had it

I own this exact truck (but mine is yellow with tan interior and a 2x4) and it's amazing. Mine has 168k miles and it looks as good as this. Really, really good trucks and I love them. If anyone out there is looking for something like this, absolutely go for it.

Nice one! That truck is still a good ol' reliable work truck especially being the XL model, single cab with maximum passenger capacity of 3, with a 5.4L V8 complete with a 4-speed 4R100 automatic transmission with overdrive. Do you happen to come across extended cab models of these?
@Eliyourcarguy4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I agree with that. I’ve never seen an extended cab with this low of mileage. Most of the extended models I see usually have a lot of miles and are not in good condition.
@southboy.b74834 жыл бұрын
I got lucky and came across an extended cab in the best condition I’ve ever seen. It had just over 115,000 miles on it. All I had to do was clean the throttle body on it and it’s been rolling ever since

@southboy.b74833 жыл бұрын
@@huverfigueroa3084 $4000-$6000 depending on the area you live in. I would pay anymore because of the lack of power. You could get a diesel for about 7000+ so I wouldn’t pay any more than that

What kind of issue were you referring to when talking about the engine “spitting” out the spark plugs? Do they actually pop out? And how much it cost to repair something like that?
@stewyoder18063 жыл бұрын
Mine spit one out. The threads holding the plug in are only 6 or 7 I believe. If the plug is a little loose it will blow plug out threads and all. It's an easy fix though. There's a kit you just thread in and uses a different size spark plug.
