2001 Honda Civic Axle Wobble - A1 Cardone

I have a 98 honda crv and have a bad wobble after installing tie rod ends, ball joints both upper and lower, and struts with new springs. Still it wobbles. The wheel bearings are tight . I also installed new front drive hslf shafts to. I still got the wobble.

I just ran into the same issue, all new inner and outter tie rods, just replace both front wheel bearings, rotors and brake pads, upper and lower ball joints and new tires ( same ones as before. mine is a 97 crv. I drove it about 1 mile down the road, the right passenger side axle slightly pops out. I did all the work on my shops lift and I know the axles were popped in bc I replaced the transmission fluid and diff fluids as well. I replaced it with another advance brand axle, since both of the axles in the front are from advance auto parts. I got a 4 wheel alignment and all the wheels and tires rebalanced. I didn't even get 200 miles on the car and the vibration started coming back. Now its bad when you take off from about 20-30 mph and then goes away. Put it back on the lift and the passenger side axle is busted at both boots and grease everywhere. Now I'm on another axle and inspected the transmission and it seems fine but I installed another axle and now it seems to have a slight movement when you grab the inner cv hub near the transmission and move it up and down. But when I felt in the transmission before I put the axle in, the bearing and differential seems fine. Anyone got any ideas, or are the Advance auto part axles that bad out of spec?

I posted this on a Honda forum, and the experienced member said that the slight wobble was normal, and was due to the axle being at an extreme angle. I've continued driving with these axles and haven't noticed anything too bad.

HI am having the same problem with my civic I change bearing and hubs and the problem the same.Did you get yours fix?
