Hell yeah it does! It is extremely raspy, if he lets off at high rpms and lets the car brake off of the engine, it pops and sputters like a mofo. I like it when hes at like 75% throttle, it's not full rasp but it's still loud and sounds awesome!

that 2v 4.6 is probably the best sounding motor ever built. btw, you know having the A/C on robs considerable power right?

+kingcrimson234 Nah man, you gotta here the terminators. They're 4v 4.6 and they are supercharged. The coyote engine is another great sounding motor. Chevy LS motors sound great too, the 2v 4.6 is good, but not the best. I know about the A/C thing, but it doesn't really matter to me unless I'm doing top speed runs or serious driving.

sgfreak96 The 4v sounds great too! I have sort of a wannabe-terminator. It's an '03 Mach 1 with the 4v, but it's Procharged. 450 to the wheels. I honestly don't like the sound of the coyote motor much. Too raspy for my taste. Amazing motor, so-so sound.

Lmfao the stang comes with a H pipe and al u added was 44s stock h pipe has cats, this has BBK off road x pipe that means no cats in the x pipe and super 10s r the deepest and aggressive flow master mufflers but ur out here telling me ur car sounds more deeper and has a roar tf dude stop

@@gb7comps470 they make O/R H pipes that have no cats. You just assumed he has his stock H pipe. O/R H pipes are 100% as loud as a X pipe just with a different tonality quality. Its deeper and more bassy where as a X pipe is more raspy and clappy. Not too mention has someone who has run many vehicles with super 44 mufflers, they're quite loud respectably.

@@gb7comps470 I have plenty of videos of all the setups I ran. I had a catless H pipe with Super 44s, a UPR X pipe, BBK X pipe, Magnaflow Magnapacks, I even ran Cherry Bomb Extremes at one point and they were raspy just like these Super 10s. The Super 44s are much deeper sounding.

My friend loves this setup, a little too much rasp for my liking personally, but it is LOUD! I'm personally a huge fan of the 40's though! All in all, switching to the 10s is not a bad idea, may as well see how you like them!

Cobra will sound even better. Those engines have a far smoother/better sound in my opinion. It will be extremely loud though, would almost suggest some quieter mufflers if going x pipe and no cats. There’s a few videos of this car on my channel with a magnaflow muffler setup that I personally loved. Convinced my friend to switch back to that for a year before he sold it; he agreed it was fun being loud in high school but the drone and noise gets a little crazy after awhile haha. +Chris G No sir, no cats. BBK offroad x-pipe! I think the super 10s are extremely loud and raspy. If that's your style, the super 10s will be great. Personally I like magnaflows, slp, and borla. Flows are nice and cheap though!

Super 10 is way better than a original 40 and it's louder and deeper and is a dual in and out muffler.

But I still need an answer for this...why do people say that 5-speed manual is stronger than the 4-spd auto if they both give the car 260 HP(stock). Doesn't that make the auto-trans stronger because it give the same power with one less?

Alex Hey! Thanks for watching. Automatic transmissions from this era were 99% torque converter automatic transmissions. These transmissions were not as efficient with their power distribution, thus resulting in less wheel horsepower than a 5 speed manual transmission. You can find some good videos on how torque converters work from Engineering Explained’s youtube channel.

Flowmaster super 10's for when you want to wake your neighbors up in the next town over. Lol! Without cats it will be ungodly stupid loud. But with cats it will still be really loud but have some tone to it. It will shape ths sound a bit. You wouldn't be disappointed and most definitely would still turn heads.

Dark era? These things are great and never have issues, theyre cheap to buy, cheap to mod, and a great car to beat around on and have fun. This car is my friends, however he hasn't had any significant issues with it that I've heard of. You'll be fine, I say go for it. Depending on your price range you may even be able to score a 99-01 cobra, which has the 32 valve engine, for more power and better sound. Either way, you'll be fine!

aftermarket bbk x pipe. stock would be catted h pipe. O/R means off road since in most places its illegal to not run cats on a car. BBK makes a great exhaust while keeping the cost down.

please put super 44's if you are running no cats, LOUD doesnt = good, super 44's will sound much deeper, and with no cats you will love it. i have super 10's on my 01 cobra with stock H pipe its loud and they sound good, once you remove the cats with super 10's your basically running straight pipes with a ton of rasp.

revelationns I personally liked his old magnaflows alot. They were quiet but loud when you got on it; the perfect blend. However, the car isn't mine, and the owner doesn't seem to have any plans of going back. Flowmaster isn't my brand of choice. I love SLP/Magnaflow.
