This was an excellent video my man! The main thing I was hoping you would address was how you need to have the car down off the jack stands to torque the lower control arms. I wasn’t 100% sure about that but it makes since. I had watched a couple other videos and they didn’t say anything about that. But you did a very impressive video here. Editing and just the amount of tips you shared in such a short time. Very clear and easy to hear and the camera work to get such clear pictures of the parts your talking about was about as good as you could possibly do considering your not in a lit up shop with a lift. Thanks for doing it the right way because it’s nice not to have to watch multiple videos just to make sure your on the right track. Hope your project their in the video worked out well for ya , I’m sure it did.

If you still have the old bolt or not you can try to see if a hardware store carries that size. If you don't have the old one then a junk yard would be your best bet.

Yes, it should be a similar procedure for removal and installation but I'm not sure about torque specs. Sometimes they make minor changes depending on the model year.

i have an 89 sentra that the lower ball joint on the control arm isnt coming out. i tried banging on it and everything but it’s stuck. any tips?

Yo did you have to FILL the lower ball joint with grease or was it prefilled

I can't remember but I think it was a sealed ball joint without a zerk fitting.

How’d you remove the 22bolt

I used a wobble extension with my impact on the bolt head and used a wrench to hold the nut. Once the nut is off you can tap on the bolt to get it to start coming out. Once it's backed out some you can use a wrench or impact to keep backing it out with the threads or wiggle the control arm while pulling on the bolt.
