At minute 6:04 he says torque the forward mounting bolts to 169 lbs, but I think that is the number for newton meters. Manual says 125 foot pounds. Rear mounting is supposed to be 103 lbs (140 Nm)

I think it depends on the model. 2012 has 109 for rear and 133 for middle bolts.

I have a problem on the forward mounting bolts , the two bolts go half way and stop , at the end of the tread holes are snap and loose, the bolt has good threads nothing stripped , what should I do?

This video saved me $1200. Thank you!! The mysterious issue we had was that the ball joint rods wouldn’t enter the knuckles straight-in, no matter what position we put the ball joint in. Even with the other bolts loosened, It took a lot of tweaking and prying to finally get it in. I don’t know how it slipped right-in in the video (5:00 mark). The good news is that we’ll never have to do this job again. 😂😂😂

You don’t have to take out the axle nut to do this job. I’ve replaced 3 control arms on my 210k mile Sentra and have got it down to a science lol. With the right tools you can do both sides in under 2 hours easily

On a nissan sentra 2012 its 133 ft lbs not 169. And 109 ft lbs not 140 ft lbs

How long does it take to remove and replace the control arm?

On my Versa, the transmission is in the way of the front mounting bolt. You can’t remove the bolt without lifting the trans slightly.

The way he did it the Axle never came out... he kept it in place.

U can do it without removing the axle. It's just makes it a but easier that's all.
