Great finish and even better memories. I won't spoil the winner since there's so few comments but i'm from where he grew up in central Maine. It was incredible seeing our local driver finally break through with a win after several years of struggles, close calls, and bad luck. The whole state was buzzing. His next victory is once of the most famous in NASCAR history...he didn't win many, but the ones he did win were barnburners!

The National Anthem interpreted by Lorri Beth Hogan was the most amazing and beautiful thing I've ever heard. Just breathtaking. Greetings and best wishes from Germany. 2001 was a bad year for us over here, too. I will remember this day vividly for the rest of my life.

They still do, the same two races on the calendar as always. Unfortunately, the spring race got trimmed down to 400 laps instead of 500 laps.
