I bought the 2.8L T6 in Australia with basically every option I could get. Best car ever still even now and after 220,000kms it is still amazing. Some of the plastics are cracked on the inside and the gear selector and hand brake leather's are buggered but that's about it. It has been a joy to own and I don't foresee selling it. I love it and it's sentimental value is huge 🙂

Why can't they make dashboards like this anymore? Simple, clean, easy to use buttons, logically laid out, no distractions, no nonsense, no glossy black plastics or huge touchscreens. Why do car manufacturer's not do this anymore? This car's dash is a timeless classic. The screens they use now, will look super dated in a few years...

Risky for the fuel pump to drain the tank so much. Btw I have the 170 hp version of the mechanically same engine. The 5 cilinder sounds so nice and feels powerful.

I think it’s working on less cylinders. It could be a faulty ignition coil or the spark plugs need replacement.

I owned S80 2.4, 170 hp engine. It had very comfy seats, good sound system and the engine, gearbox (aisin) was good too. Negative was the wind noise, handling and poor interior materials...

@@shanbeh For 2500 Euros W210 E class from 2000-2002 is better choice. The car is more stable, handling and materials. Mine S80; Which i had before 4 Years, cost me 1600 Euros.

@@JoeBlack9 Hehe fajne te Volvo ale niespodzianka była. Odradzam jeżdzic na rezerwie ponieważ wtryskiwacze mogą pracować niepoprawnie ze względu na pianę w baku przy małej ilości paliwa. Miałem kiedyś taką sytuacje i zapaliła się lampka od wtryskiwaczy. Po zatankowaniu problem zniknął.

That was a short test drive. The engine went out when you came of the interstate. Also the engine warning Light is on. My expérience with these Volvo's is that they are by far not as reliable as they say. Even compared to Renault these are cars of very poor quality and reliability.

I have an 2002 Volvo s80t6. It's really very reliable. Some of the early 2000s were reliable, some weren't. I've got a good one.

@@benjaminsmith2287 these T6 have massive gearbox problems. Volvo installed a GM gearbox on these T6 which often break at low mileages.

@@benjaminsmith2287 no, only the 2.4, 2.4T and the 2.5T have the Aisin transmission. The Aisin is a 5 speed and the GM one a 4 speed.
