I have a 225 myself and was surprised that your top speed was so low, would have expected at 135+ mph on some of the straights..

There are other MK1 TT vids where they are more aggressive. This is a nice conservative lap with no seat of the pants "oh shit" moments....they are fun...but

Do you have an aftermarket BOV? yours is really loud and I can't hear mine at all unless I throttle it in 6th at around 30 then let off the throttle, where I hear it very quietly.

Subscribed. Nice driving man, great to see you giving proper room to faster cars too. Question for you, do you experience any issues at high speeds with the car? I'm looking to buy one but am concerned about the whole stability at high speeds issue. Thank you.

Hey Erik, cheers, always like to give the faster cars plenty of room, no ambiguity then. In 2/3 years of ownership I've not had any at high speeds with this car...a lot of the 'known' stability issues were ironed out with some suspension and body work modifications. I've since added a silly rear wing...

brilliant mate.. Just got myself the same model and year 3 weeks ago.. had a few issues with loosing boost but i sorted it .. how was the drive over in it, thinking about going myself

Hey buddy, it was a long old drive over, managed to do it on one tank of fuel from Wiltshire though. The 1.8t's are great on fuel on long runs :D

How did you sort loosing the boost? was it the dv?

I changed the diverter valve to a blow off valve .. it's got to be a recirculating one though I know forge do one for a lot of money but I went for the cheaper ebay one .. works a treat... also while I was at it changed the N75 valve for a new one again ebay them only around 40.00 fitted them both and boost was sorted
