2002 Chevy S10 2.2 5 Speed Driving

Actually drove one of my own for a change, this baby has given me trouble free, cheap on gas service for 19 years this year. And at 265,000 miles, it is still running good.

The clutch fan noises the 2.2 made always sounded cool to me for what ever reason

Lol me and 2 or 3 of my buddies all had 2.2 s10s at one point and we would always joke about how it made them sound like a Freightliner or something

just got the same truck 2001 172k. Wondering how u go from 2nd gear to neutral at under 30 miles coming to a full stop. if that makes sense. thnx!

Generally I just reach down and ease it out of gear. If it's not under load I don't even have to clutch it

Just picked a 98 up can’t expect to win any races with it but it gets you where you need.

Nice vid I do like the silence and just hearing how the truck behaves on the road. But also would like some commentary every now and then like "These s10's soak up these bumps real well on the current struts i have on" such and such.

They are definitely not very roomy lol. The seat is scooted back until the head rest are touching the back window in mine and I'm not even that tall.
