2002 Chrysler Town and Country P0305 -- Misfire

Thank you!! I'm having the same issue with my 05. Changed plugs and wires and cleaned fuel injectors. Was gonna check vacuume lines and pcv and wire harness. This seems to be right tho, because wires seem fine. Thank you!

I installed new 1)spark plugs $38 2)spark plug wires$36 3)ignition coil $62 autozone I test drove around NEIGHBORHOOD and 2004 town&country drove like brand new felt as if van was not on ran soo smooth& i was impressed. Im happy. POWER STWERING has a (3rd hidden bolt) behind poweR STEERING.NEED AN EXTENSION BAR& PATIENCE. REMOVE 2 VACUUM HOSES TO MK JOB EASIER.

Best thing to do before buying a coil.. Is to check that signal from the ECU... As these are known for the ECU coil driver going south.. If your lucky it's a broken wire. As for some stupid reason. they put the ECU under the driver side front fender well. Where water\dirt\snow\ice beat it to death..

Would not fixing this issue cause motor to die??

That's hard to say... depends on how bad the misfire is and whether there are multiple cylinders which are misfiring.

@@CharlesAndCars was getting no injector pulse for I would say about 2 months narrowed it sown to ecm as injector harness was changed for a new one bought a used computer that needed to be programmed to van

Sorry just woke up but I forget the code but it came up as injector circuit #3 pulled plugs as well only thing I didn’t do was compressiontest as I don’t have the proper tool

Not fixing it will cost you a Catalytic Converter. As the raw un-burned fuel will eat it alive..In time flat...

Well update chain broke engine stopped rotating and went to junkyard

@@CharlesAndCars moved on to a 07 Toyota Sienna after reviews found common issues and found out they’ve been fixed now looking at 11+ siennas as a backup
