This Kawasaki Concours has been left mostly stock, though the faring pocket covers have been modified to fit speakers. However there are no speakers currently installed. Powered by a 997CC 4 cylinder engine with a 6-speed transmission, the Concours puts out 95hp at 9,100rpm, and 65 lb-ft of torque at 6,350rpm. It has a seat height of 31.1", and a dry weight of 595lbs.

I have a 2001 model with 21K on the clock. Mine is a deep ocean Blue color. It has been really well kept. I have had it for about 3 years and it had just 15K on it when I bought it. I don't ride it very often but it is ridden every week until it gets up to normal operating temps. It is very important that a motorcycle is ridden often so that nothing goes bad from just sitting. I am 68 years old and the bike is just a little bit too much for me now that I am getting older. I have been riding bikes since I was 12 and have had many, many bikes over 50+ years of riding. This Kawasaki ZG 1000 is one of the nicest, riding motorcycles ever made. It purrs like a big kitten. This was my first Concours and I am amazed at how well built this bike is made. It isn't the fastest bike I have ever had but it is a very powerful motorcycle that will surprise anyone that has never ridden one like it. Everything on the bike works just like it should. It is a stock bike with the bags in excellent shape. It has never been wrecked or laid down. It has newer Michelin motorcyle tires that have about 6K on them. They have excellent tread still on them and should last for at least another 20K. They are not cheap tires. I am asking $3,250 for my bike. It is in excellent shape and everything works like it should. You will not find another bike in as good a shape as this one
