There have been a few people that have told me about the KO2’s. I remember almost getting those a few years ago with a suburban I had because they had great reviews and I knew a few people that had them as well. Definitely a tire that I’ll be considering! Thanks for the input!

@@SuperRomano3 it might just be because my trucks is an HD? I have the factory keys and they’re maxed out and I trimmed my front bumper and also did what people call the “Nor Cal Mod”. Other than that my suspension is all stock or replacement parts that are own equivalent

Mic sounds great! Talked to a guy getting his tires rotated at Discount Tires the other day. He told me he has tried them all. He loves the Micky Thompson Baja AT and MT. Runs them on his and wife's truck.He said you can get them through Discount Tire. About same price as anywhere. I like putting tires on my Discount tire card and pay them out interest free. I am looking at the Micky Thomson and Nitto Ridge grabblers. You got me thinking about the Toyo's now 65K is impressive for that MT..
@OronasGarage8 ай бұрын
Thanks! I didn’t even think about those! I was thinking about BFG KM3’s but they’re pricy. One thing I would say I didn’t like about the MT is that in doesn’t do so great in the rain. I’ve had the AT2 before and I loved that tire. I know a few people with the Ridge Grapplers and they seem to like them but they said that in the rain that the tires don’t do so great either. One thing that has helped these tires last is that I try to stay on top of the tire rotation and the tire pressures. I usually run my fronts around 42-45psj and the rears are at 48-52 psi. If I tow, then I air up depending on how heavy the load, but to be fair, I haven’t towed in about a year and a half.

Why not get the mazzulla plate rear bumper?

Wish I could help you out with the tire information. Even though trying something else is appealing, at approximately $2000 for a set I might just buy the same. You got the looks and they're proven. I found your channel because I have an 01 8.1 2500 and I was looking for exhaust stuff. Subscribed because of that wheel tire combo and those shocks. Speaking of which, is the offset a -12? What part or model number are those kings? Your truck is just clean and I love it.

Tires are definitely expensive, and that’s why I’m curious as to what’s worked for other people. You’re absolutely right, these Toyos have been tried and true so that’s why I’m leaning towards that. I’m glad you found the channel and thank you for the support! Did you see the video I have with my buddies 8.1 2500? Only change was a Black Widow Venom 250. @@nathancoronado8408 no problem! I purchased mine from Accutune because they do custom shock valving/tuning for free when you purchase the shocks from them. So if you have a winch, or steel bumpers or roof rack etc they can change the valving to compensate for the additional weight. The valving can also be specific to the type of driving you’ll be doing on/off road.
