you and I are on the same page. Both are fantastic. I prefer the Chaser since it's a bit sportier, but the Aristo makes you feel like you are a special person.

If the Transaxl code on the build plate in the engine bay ends with an A, it came with an open diff. If it ends in a B, it came with a factory torsen.

They made the Aristo until 2005. Sadly the Vertex´s did not have a Torsen LSD (Mine does not, I have a 2001 Vertex Edition 10th Anniversary) I am not sure if you could buy it as an option, but the Supra diff fits, so people do swap them for the Torsen in that. How is the price picture on these looking? Im assuming going up?

Love mine, especially it's Revolfe SA history. I replaced the touchscreen with the standalone controls like in this model. Definitely the go.

Such a nice 161, lucky customer. I have UCF20 brakes on my 110, very similar to Supra brakes and they also feel a bit funny likely due to the extra volume of fluid needed. Hasn't bugged me enough to warrant a Supra MC yet but I did fit braided lines and they feel great.

I think that extra coolant hose is to direct receive cylinder 5 and 6 hot coolant to help it cool those rear cylinders otherwise the hot coolant pools there, it’s more a ng, haven’t seen it much on a 2J

2002 V300 in this condition doesn't come by in auction so easily. Good on the new Canadian owner. Wonder if Derek can help us budget to bid for a similar one if ever there's one left in the land of the rising sun.

Does the Vertex always have a spoiler? I have a '99 without a spoiler. Curious if it was removed or factory built like that

I believe all the Vertex Edition ones came with a rear spoiler but there might have been an option to have it removed.

Or with the brakes man , Switch the brake master cylinder (because I'm guessing it was over looked) to a JZA80 turbo one, this will SOLVE the pedal feel considerably , .This will be / should be accessible in Canada for sure, So you may want to tell your customer about this , all the best man !
