2003-2007 Honda Accord V6 6 speed manual transmission oil change with Synchromesh

So glad i found this. Ive been sitting on the 3 quarts of synchromesh looking for the best route to do this. Definitely alot easier than i thought. Gonna tackle this along with my next oil change. Thank you for posting this. Long live the 6-6 sedans!

Now on your first drive with syncromesh, do you notice a difference in shifting gears from Honda Genuine Manual transmission fluid? I know Honda is quite specific to its fluids.

Instead of breaking loose the top bolt for filling, I would use the lower fill bolt hole. Insert a hose and pump fluid until it starts to flow out.

@@mohamedkhelili9311 I actually ended up using bg syncroshift 2. Completely eliminated the grinding into/popping out of 3rd gear. It’s been 3 years now and still no issues. I highly recommend it!

Good video, my dude, but it's important that the car is LEVEL before draining & filling. Since you have the front on ramps and the back is on the ground, you didn't fully empty the old fluid and you also overfilled the new fluid.
