No need to remove the entire panel. Go thru access hole in tailgate and just remove the 10mm nut on each reverse light.

Maybe that is for Land Cruiser, for Lexus it's not only held by 10mm nuts but also by plastic clips. Mine were broken because someone before me has forcefully pried it out.

@@CrazyforCruiser No Sir, I just took out the reverse bulbs on my '06 LX. What you did in your video at 1:18 can be done without taking the entire panel off. Just simply loosen the 10mm nut on each side. Look at it again.
