This is pretty good timing because I'm wanting to get one of these later this year. Not necessarily because I'm interested in the Anniversary specifically but because the Anniversary ones were all loaded so it's easier to check when shopping used.

I've never cared for how the C5 looks as a convertible compared to the C4 and C3, and I'm wary of older convertibles as it is. I'd much rather have the coupe and have the best of both worlds by just driving it as much as possible with the roof off like I do with my cars now.@@oreally8605

Absolutely love my 50th Anniversary edition convertible. Looks like it show room ready after all these years and turns more heads than ever. The younger group appreciate the "retro styling" which blows my mind because it still feels new to me. It never fails to turn a bad day into something good. Vette therapy for sure.

I have one. Bought it in 2015 with 675 miles on it. Never thought I'd own one but one day I was in the chevy dealer and they had a number of different vettes. I saw the same type of the one in this video. Didn't get to get that one but got an even better one mileage wise. Found it in Florida, flew down there and drove it home. What a great short trip. Love this car for sure even with some of the bugs that came about over the years. It is fastttttttttttttttt with a great stereo system!

Something about plastic interiors I just love. Ik a lot of it was highly criticized but being I grew up in the 2000s, and plastic interiors were everywhere in cars back then and I find it so nostalgic. Now cars since the 2010s have been filled with fake leather and expensive dash boards with screens and complicated surfaces 😅

For 20 years ago it was a damn good car for the money. Loved the color combo but just like they made a ton of 40th anniversary cars they made a ton of 50th as well. I have an 88 35th Anniversary car which they at least limited to 2050 cars. Thought about getting the 70th C8 Z06 but they want stupid dollars for them. Great throwback video!!

Crazy to think that would’ve been 1973 nowadays (for what was still 2023). My dad had a 1979 Corvette when I was growing up (which today that’d be equivalent to a 1999 model). It ran fine but nothing inside worked anymore… no windshield wiper, interior lights, horn, radio, no heat or AC, not even the clock worked. Although just before getting rid of it, my dad did put a new Bluetooth stereo system in since the old speakers were long dead. One that would let the radio play from his phone. He bought it in really bad condition in the early 90s (when the car was only around 15 years old) and him and his brother restored it and my dad kept it until 2015. He sold it and then got a 1997 Corvette which he had for a few more years until getting a 2009 Shelby GT500 convertible in 2019. By then he was approaching his 60s and wanted a fast car that was still easy for him to get in and out of, which the corvette was failing to do lol

It's funny people like you constantly bitching and moaning about the interiors...could they have been higher quality? Sure but that would have added a higher price to the car and the same people would have griped about that. This car was about PERFORMANCE! To that end it ran with cars that cost 2, 3, 4 times as much and many of the Vettes are still on the road which attest to the durability of the rest of the car. If you want a perfect interior spend the extra money and buy a Ferrari and deal with the ridiculous amount of money you'll be charged for maintenance and repairs.

My Denali and Cadillac were the first vehicles from GMC to run the 6l80 in 2007. GM did have the 5l50 but for v6 only. GMC took their sweet time developing a 6 speed unfortunately but is way more reliable than the 4speed (I have one in my trailblazer SS that needs rebuilt again.) or the 8 speed that came later.
