I saw the same type of the one in this video. Didn't get to get that one but got an even better one mileage wise. Found it in Florida, flew down there and drove it home. What a great short trip. Crazy to think that would’ve been 1973 nowadays (for what was still 2023). My dad had a 1979 Corvette when I was growing up (which today that’d be equivalent to a 1999 model). It ran fine but nothing inside worked anymore… no windshield wiper, interior lights, horn, radio, no heat or AC, not even the clock worked. Although just before getting rid of it, my dad did put a new Bluetooth stereo system in since the old speakers were long dead. One that would let the radio play from his phone. He bought it in really bad condition in the early 90s (when the car was only around 15 years old) and him and his brother restored it and my dad kept it until 2015. He sold it and then got a 1997 Corvette which he had for a few more years until getting a 2009 Shelby GT500 convertible in 2019. By then he was approaching his 60s and wanted a fast car that was still easy for him to get in and out of, which the corvette was failing to do lol

@larrysutton92510 ай бұрын
It's funny people like you constantly bitching and moaning about the interiors...could they have been higher quality? Sure but that would have added a higher price to the car and the same people would have griped about that. This car was about PERFORMANCE! To that end it ran with cars that cost 2, 3, 4 times as much and many of the Vettes are still on the road which attest to the durability of the rest of the car. If you want a perfect interior spend the extra money and buy a Ferrari and deal with the ridiculous amount of money you'll be charged for maintenance and repairs.
