Mine has been hit or miss. Sometimes it will come on like normal. Other times, I have to hit a rough spot in the road while driving for it to come on. I just went out there, tapped the bottom of the blower twice and I came on. Just ordered a new one for $32 on ebay.. Dude you're some kind of handy! I've been wrecking my mind trying to figure this thing out. Thanks man!

did these steps and my blower motor resister plug was not plugged in or lose. did what you said left the truck on with the fan on, then pulled and replugged in that plug and magic, came on. thanks for the video.

i hooked my buddy gene's right to his battery because the multi meter wasnt reading any power, blower motor works, now we just have to dink with the wiring harness. thanks for the video.

Gotta question for you. My truck got broken into on an attempt to steal it. So my wheel column and key ignition was damaged. Now my windows air and radio only comes when ignition is forward. But when its crank none of it works.

I replaced the resistor, the blower motor and the blower motor connector relays but not that fuse and I still have no blower, any advice. I will replace that fuse today and see if it helps but I'm at a loss. any help will be great thank youi

Mine will blow intermittently. I’ve noticed when the ambient temp of the cab is hotter, it doesn’t want to turn on. It will work in all 4 speeds when it does turn on. Any ideas on what may be wrong?

Great video, what if the fuses blow immediately? I've unplug the ac controls, blower motor, blower registor, ac compressor, and ac sensor. The 10a fuse in the cab keep blowing when I turn the truck on. I moved the wires around under the steering wheel to see if there was a loose wire and then the 10a fuse worked. I plugged in the 40a fuse and relay under the hood. Immediately the rely went crazy when being installed, and the 40a fuse blew.

Hey, so I followed everything and there's no power going to the resistor. None of the wires have power when ignition is on/vehicle running. Fuse is good under the hood. Is this pretty much pretty certain that the ingnition switch is most likely bad? Even though it starts and runs?

I'm having a similar issue you described here. Except the blower doesn't turn on at all. I'm not sure how to check to see if I'm getting power to the motor. When I put my volt meter on it didn't read anything. Just bought this truck thinking it was a switch and it wasn't the problem as far as I know

Hey what if I'm getting 12v to the fan but it won't come on...also I man make the fan work with a Milwaukie battery but not while plugged i. Seems like it may be a ground issue like you were talking about

I have a 2004 Ram, looks to be same procedure, the blower motor came on when I tapped it with screwdriver and is intermittent when driving. Both connections looks good, no corrosion visible. Next step? Start with resistor?

I jiggled ignition first with blower on and nothing so I pulled the blower motor out and used some gator clips to battery to check. Motor spun so must be resistor.

Swapped my batteries this weekend, and today I found out that my blower motor isn't running. (on all speeds). Haven't had the time yet (as I'm at work now) to check it out, but the point that the blower resistor is regulating with the amount of ground it provides where golden for me and will check this out later today. I suspect a blown fuse, and I'm not sure where I could source those 40A fuses here in Norway.

The issue im having is that my ac blower motor will turn on randomly. When it turns in the ac works great it blows nice an cold it may work for a day or 2 then stop working for who knows how's how long. Then once it quits working sometime if I leave it of an drive around for a bit I can turn it back in an it will come on an work fine with no issue. But sometimes it doesn't. But everytime it does decide it want to work it works at all speeds an blows ice cold it doesn't work but about 30% of the time an I can not figure it out for the life of me does anyone have any ideas how I might fix this issue? I did have $1100 in ac work done 6 months ago but when I took it back into let then look at it everything was working fine imagine that. But as an electronic tech I understand u can't diagnose an issue that not happening . Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Very helpful thank you. I have a question, not about the heater though. My 2005 dodge ram 1500, engine 4.7 does this odd thing. Ill drive it, when I stop for a red light or stop sign, the oil pressure goes to zero and the little lite comes on and dings at me. Then when I start driving again it goes back to normal. Would you know what the problem maybe? I was think the oil position sensor might be bad, not sure where its located. Lol What do u think? Erin

I would check the oil on your truck same thing was happening to mine and when i checked the oil it hardly showed anything on the dip stick to check the oil

Could be a potential vacuum leak somewhere. I would check all of your hoses and connections then try again. I had a friend that his would only work when driving as wel and it was a leak.

Do you know all the greasing points on the truck? Control arms I know are a grease point... is there ball joint grease fittings and front driveshaft? Mine was literally just not plugged in haha but without the video I didn't even know the blower motor was right there... the plug was lose just held it on with duck tape and you know what they say if duck tape doesn't work your not using enough duck tape!

Man what's your other video about the same Dodge I have a 05 Dodge 2500 now I made trips Wednesday night to come down here and see my girlfriend s*** it's about 2 hour drive I just got done changing the three knobs and the basically the control inside my truck cuz I was having issues of it not it was not coming on and it's been in there since factory so it was working fine again it was blown cold air it was all everything was good now on my trip to come see my girlfriend 30 minutes after I passed Austin it just quit and stop blowing it wasn't working I can hear the AC condenser clicking off clicking on when I'm going down the road if I put my hand over the vent it's blowing cold air but my fan is not kicking on I've replaced the relay I've replaced the the other thing that's next to the fan I took it to O'Reilly's they hooked up a battery to my fan and it's been like it was brand new please help me out

So I got an 08 ram a few weeks ago and I starting having the speed problem. Usually would only work on low and then sometimes on high but never the middle two settings.
