Thanks for the ride. Here in the UK the ride season starts around april...if your lucky. Ride safe and enjoy the freedom only a HARLEY can give you. (Like your sound track.)

+Peter Leonard Norcott Hi. Glad you enjoyed it. usually april is the time here too. But we get warm Chinook winds here that warm things up. Ive actually rode on Christmas day but that's not the norm. Got some awesome footage of last summer on the roads I mentioned. Youre right. Onky a Harley feels like a Harley. Happy traiks

You did make a special wooden floor for it right ? Amazing ;-) Thank youand the Low Rider what a bike.

Yes, I cut it to length and the width was perfect for a 4 ft wide piece of plywood.

Awesome bike! I'm a first time rider. Would you think this is a good bike to get considering I'm a newbie? Some advised me to start on a sportster (Iron 883, 48, etc.). However, my point is, I don't want to buy a bike I know I will eventually outgrow. Besides, I plan to take my bike touring, like from California to Arizona, or Utah --that sort of road trip. And I know I have more power and fuel capacity, should I get a Dyna Low Rider as oppose to sportsters. Also, I'm 5'9", would you think I'll have discomforts at some point? Thanks and I would appreciate your feedback. Be safe and enjoy!

Hi thanks for the reply Id be happy to give you my 2 cents. Personally i would go for a low rider. To each their own and all but if you become serious i think youll outgrow a sporty. You can see i built the bike up for touring. There are hills in BC that go up and until you think there is no more and this bike powers thru like there was no hill. I love it/ Im an inch shorter than you and it fits me perfectly. flat feet on ground with knees bent so its easy to get leverage to back up. I bought the seat from lepera its a monterey solo plus the queen. Looks kinda funny with just the rider seat because the backrest sits high but looks great with both. I since added kuryakin swithblade pegs. The heels support is huge on long rides but you may get mid pegs mine are forward. Another thing...I sat on a brand new one last week in banff. Sits a little higher than mine but it had the new adjustable seat on it. also this is an 88 the new bikes have a 103 engine and even more power. So I hope that helps you. Send me an update Id love to see what you get

Excuse me ,Mark can you tell me where I can find that cover ?I got my bike finally this year ,and I need a sturdy cover to last a couple of years

Hi Ken. I bought it on ebay. I couldn't get it direct from the owner because he doesn't, or didn't ship to Canada. He was very helpful through email though. There are different sizes. I think cruiser, and touring. It fits the bike you see and it fits the softail deluxe I just bought. Fits perfectly onto a 4x8 plywood, with a trim of the length. So just google speedway cycle Shelter, and depending where you are its easy to order. Mine is 4 years old and other than fading from the sun is as strong as ever. Congrats on your new bike!

+mark dietz Thanks mark I will checkout speedway cycle shelter and my new bike is a 1999 supper glide FXDX in really great condition . I'm happy with it but it's far from new ,even if it looks it .

Kenneth. Well a superglide is pretty much a low rider. So the fit wont be an issue. Happy riding!
