Thanks for the video. I had same symptoms on a 2003 Honda pilot. After replacing countless solenoids, I had to start checking all the solenoid wiring until I found the culprit. Same solenoid as yours but mine had a disconnected live wire. I just connected it back and I’m on the highway now.

How did you know to check for ground at that solenoid? I have exact symptoms including clearing code and immediately returns without even starting car...i can drive the csr if i manually start out in low and shift up...the van sermd like its always in a higher gear...goes fine while on highway after you get going but D is always flashing and TCS stays lit

I am not sure if the transmission in the 2004 is the same in the 2003. However, if it is a ground problem, then you can run the wire to a good ground spot.

Yes mine had the little bracket all rusted and just when I was about to touch it the cable with the 4 little ones just fell off. I cutter the attachment off the little 4 cables got those together ran a cable to the negative post of the battery and it worked for me. 👍
