Hi David Anderson I messaged you awhile back I have a 01 dual stator classic 1500 engine I swapped into my 96 single stator vulcan 1500 classic and its hard to start backfiring bad and seems pissed to run! All plugs have a place except he front stator which is missing the plug from the end bc it melted is the front stator not being plugged in hindering the bike from running or is it a air fuel issue p. S. I swapped the coolant inlets from one motor to the other and the carb as well. The igniter box on the 96 wouldn't even fire the coils so I put the one from the 01 on it and it fires now but runs horrible any help or thought? Thanks again sir

Which valve spring compressor do you recomend using? My princess auto over head compressor seems to be too big.

Need to drop motor to do job

How do you get it up on the stand like that? The stand is to far forward to pick up the rear tire.

Haley Lane The bike lift is as far back as possible, Definable heavy in the rear Now when the motor is ready to remove I dropped bike back to the ground on the side stand. I used the bike jack with the help of a couple blocks of wood to support engine as I removed right side of frame and remaining mounts, rolled jack and motor right out.
