2003 MERCEDES W211 Electrical Problems!! Battery Control Module (BCM) Easy FIX!!

After expiriencing some weird electrial issues after engine start, I did some research and got to a solution that maybe my BCM or Battery control module is acting strange. It`s a common problem with W211 models that conector for BCM can have some oxidation and could cause various electrical problems. Guess I was wright as you can see in this video conectro for BCM had some heavy oxidation. We all know that bad contact is equal as no contact.

Thank you. I will try this on my 2005 e280 tomorrow. It's been doing strange things, even the engine won't turn off sometimes.

The old weather stripping could be allowing water to leak onto that controller. Keep electric grease on the plug!

I had the same error, I cleaned the contacts on the two terminals of the large battery. The positive terminal was rusty

I couldn't unplug the clip. How did you get it off?

With brake cleaner.. Then sprayed contact spray in it.

Brate gde mogu da kupim taj dzek jel mi mozes pomoci ili kako da ga trazim na internetu meni isto oksidiralo ali sam otkinuo neki kabal sve bilo zaribalo

jedino kod ovih sto prodaju polovne delove ( citaj na opadu ) ako neko ima bas taj dzek da ti proda. Ima otpada do mile volje bez brige..
