Good video. Best practice is to always weigh the refrigerant charge in to the system. The amount is listed on a data sticker in the engine compartment.

To guarantee it will work when replacing the following........ AC Compressor Condenser Accumulator Office tube All seal Flush/Vacuum out all lines Question..... What else is needed to be replace, evaporator and what else? Flush the lines, you didn't show that, may I get video on that or show all lines that need to be flushed? I had several people working on my AC and every single person did not replace all, nor did they tell me I should replace all when replacing my AC Compressor? If I replace all, then my AC should work for sure. Thank you for your help, wonderful video, and all was clear!

Can the oem low side fitting be replaced? My service port is leaking and I can't find the correct fitting anywhere.

They should sell a multipack at the part store if I’m not mistaken.. you just need that little special tool to thread the old one out and reinstall the new one

My air condituon module fuse keeps blowing. Every morning I need a new fuse. Think changing all this would help?

Have you tried putting a slightly stronger fuse in it? What does that fuse control exactly?

Why you replace mostly everything was the compressor bad was the condenser leaking or just replace it all cause you had it open
@ecanixgarage11065 жыл бұрын
Ryan Scherbluk I believe the compressor had a hole blown in the side of it. The accumulator should always be changed when you change a compressor, and I usually always change condenser when there has been a failed compressor. There are little plastic seals inside compressor and when they break up, they can get lodged in the condenser. Once they break free from the condenser they can come back around and take out brand new compressor you just installed. If you do condenser and compressor, along with accumulator/orfice/dryer etc.. you can’t go wrong and can guarantee Year’s of cold air. 👌🏼

19:02 What does "make sure the cooling fans are running" Mean? Just to check for their function? Or to check the freon pressure they must be on?
@ecanixgarage11063 жыл бұрын
With the ac on, the fan/fans should all be running..

John Park one just Be patient and don’t force anything out. It wasn’t that bad, you can do it. Just be sure to follow all the steps with evacuating the system and charging properly. Thanks for watching my video, would you please subscribe? I’m only a few subscribers away from men thousand so I can re-monetize! It would really help me! Colby dean

Yes, it is. You can either take the entire dash apart, or remove everything from the radio down. I chose the latter as I needed to have use of the car if the replacement took longer than expected. It did. It took over a week. In retrospect, I kind of wish I would have just removed the dash. There is very little room, it will make you a master contortionist. Take pictures so you remember which screw/bolt goes where and which covers belong where! If you get stuck getting the cover off.. the nut holding it on is in the engine compartment below the heater core hoses toward the steering column. With the heater hoses it's almost impossible to see unless you know where it is. Careful removing it, its probably rusted and things won't line back up right if it isn't secured.
